Created as part of an assignment to reinterpret an existing film through a new genre, this poster reimagines Close Encounters of the Third Kind as a Western. Using the film’s original title and tagline, the design draws on classic Western aesthetics to build a cinematic visual language that blends mystery with frontier iconography. Typography, color palette, and composition were carefully chosen to evoke the tone of vintage Western film posters while maintaining a sense of otherworldly intrigue.
